Enhancing the Future of Healthcare

The COVID 19 pandemic gravely impacted the world around us and unearthed inequities in our already fractured healthcare system. At the height of the pandemic, fewer people were able to access their doctors. While at home, many with chronic conditions did not seek care and the acutely ill avoided going to hospitals out of fear. KoreMed was founded with the mission of improving access by leveraging technology to provide personalized and affordable medical care and to meet our patients where they are the most comfortable, at home. KoreMed is comprised of a team of dedicated physicians and other health professionals from diverse backgrounds and specialties. Our collective experiences include Internal medicine with inpatient and outpatient expertise, community health disparities, infectious disease, and behavioral health. Our objectives are to advance health equity by using technology to provide all your care needs on one platform, improve population health through community engagement, and reduce health care costs through prevention. An integral component of our care model is social determinants of health (SDOH). It is approximated that 80 percent of health outcomes are driven by social factors, including living environment, income, access to healthy food, and transportation. We believe that through partnerships with our patients, local community leaders, and organizations, we can educate, empower, and inspire each other to impact change beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
